Shafi made his debut in ‘ Khadgam’ as Prakash Raj’ s brother. He gave a powerful performance in the movie. Later he played another important role with a negative touch again in ‘ Chatrapati’ as Prabhas’ brother.

However, he failed to get adequate break in the film industry. In the latest film ‘ Khaleja’ he gave an extraordinary performance as ‘ Siddhu’. His character could be claimed as a highlight of the movie, as Maheshbabu’s image got a boost because of Shafi’ s articulate performance and gestures.

The audiences could easily identify his dedication towards his profession in the film. Trivikram should be complimented for choosing him for the role and Shafi too lived up to the expectations of the director and audiences.

Maheshbabu himself says, ‘ Shafi has become a key member of the unit as he digested the entire script. His role really elevated the hero’s image in the movie. His performance is quite amazing. Let us wish his talent would be recognised by the judges while giving awards that would be announced next year.
